Demo · machine vision on a phone video of the mouth

Every tooth, tracked.

Clean the phone. Film the mouth. Hand it off. The machine finds every tooth, follows it frame to frame with its own ID, flags what's worth a look, and puts it all on one tooth map for the dentist.

Tracked right now

Then it flags what's worth a look

A second pass looks inside every tooth it sees. Blue outlines the tooth surface. Red boxes are dark lines, amber boxes are dark spots. A box that holds for 5 frames locks and lands on the flag map, and the tooth heats from blue to pink the more it's seen.

One photo, one crack

  • The blue outline is every bit of tooth the machine sees.
  • The red box is the dark line it flagged across the top of the back tooth.
  • It's pinned to tooth #30 on the flag map below.

How it works

Tap a step.

What it flags, and what it can't see

It flags

  • Dark lines on a tooth: could be a crack, a stain line, or a natural groove.
  • Dark spots and pits: could be decay, a stain, or food.
  • It throws out frames that are blurry, too dark, or washed out by glare.

It can't see (yet)

  • Between teeth or under the gum. That takes X-rays.
  • The difference between a crack and a stain. A dentist can.
  • That a mouth is fine. A clean scan only means nothing stood out on the surfaces the camera saw.

Next: paired with X-rays

With consenting patients and the practice's own X-rays, every tooth on the phone map lines up with the same tooth on the X-ray. The phone watches the surfaces between visits. The X-ray sees inside. Paired, the machine learns from the dentist's own calls, and that's where it gets strong.

The same box-and-number language on an X-ray. Tap to look closer.

For the practice

  • Every patient video comes back with every tooth tracked, numbered and boxed.
  • Flags land on the tooth map, with the exact frames one tap away.
  • Pair it with the practice's X-rays and the same tooth numbers line up across both.
  • The dentist's yes/no on each flag teaches it that dentist's eye.
